Carousel
Carousel

Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 It amazes me how a painting will develop. It begins life as one thing and suddenly my muses have it tearing off in wild directions. At least lately they have. I realize when painting you have to be willing to make mistakes. Don’t worry about the mistakes, work with them. Especially works when painting loose and free. Today the Carousel took off in its own direction. I will probably ditch the original concept and let the background Center in mystery. It is like windows of childhood that can shatter and break at anytime. Of course my Easter 🥚 egg are the twins from the 20th century movie The Shining. They are the fears that grip use as young children when we are asked to go it alone. Not that the adults will notice. We pass them daily on our journey into adulthood.
